Liverpool to Bridlington
Coast-2-Coast cycle ride 25/07/2025 to 27/07/2025

The Route

Day 1 – cycling from Liverpool Crosby beach round the suburbs of North Manchester with lunch in the Bulls Head Walkden. Then we cross the M66 and then the M62 before a gruelling assent on to Saddleworth Moor. Then across the hills to Holmfirth.
Day 2 – from Holmfirth to Shiptonthorpe in East Yorkshire. We lunched in Pontefract, passed through Selby and ended up in Shiptonthorpe. There we enjoyed a great BBQ late into the evening.
Day 3 – from Shiptonthorpe to Bridlington. This is the easiest day across the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds and arriving in Bridlington at lunchtime.
